Duties of Reviewers
Contribution to Editorial Decisions
The text applying for publication is subject to internal assessment by the Editor-in-Chief and two independent polish or foreign Reviewers. Peer review assists the editor in chief in making editorial decisions and the author in improving the paper.
Promptness
Any selected reviewers who feels unqualified to review the research reported in a manuscript or knows that its prompt review will be impossible should notify the editor and excuse himself from the review process.
Confidentiality
The paper review is based on the principle of "double-blind review process" (Authors and Reviewers do not know their identities). Any manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents. They must not be shown to or discussed with others except as authorized by the editor in chief.
The names of the Reviewers are published on the annual website under the "Reviewers" tab.
Standards of Objectivity
Reviews should be conducted objectively. Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate. Reviewers should express their views clearly with supporting arguments.
Acknowledgement of Sources
Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors. Any statement that an observation, derivation, or argument had been previously reported should be accompanied by the relevant citation. A reviewer should also call to the editor's attention any substantial similarity or overlap between the manuscript under consideration and any other published paper of which they have personal knowledge.
Review form
The review always appears in writing review form and is finalised with a clear conclusion on whether or not to accept the paper for publication. The review form is published on the journal website and can be downloaded here as or .
The Reviewer receives the text and all necessary documents via email.
After reviewing, the reviewer sends it to the Editorial Board in electronic form with their own signature and relevant documents. In the event of significant comments by the Reviewer regarding the subject of the review, they are forwarded to the Author in the form of anonymous information with a request to refer to them. The Author, after making corrections in accordance with the Reviewer's suggestions and taking a position towards them, via the Editorial Office sends the text to the same Reviewer.
Disclosure and Conflict of Interest
Information obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal advantage. Reviewers should not consider manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships or connections with any of the authors, companies, or institutions connected to the papers.
